I love pepitas! Not only are they tasty, but they are also a great source of zinc….which is very important for a strong immune system! Turmeric also has anti-inflammatory effects on the body. These spiced pumpkin seeds taste amazing on a salad or your favorite cream soup!
Curry Spiced Pumpkin Seeds
These spiced pumpkin seeds taste amazing on a salad or your favorite cream-soup!
- 1 cup raw pepitas
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp curry powder
1. Soak seeds in filtered water for 7 hours to break down the anti-nutrients.
2. Mix spices.
3. Drain seeds and combine them with spices.
4. Spread on dehydrator trays.
5. Dehydrate in a dehydrator at 145 until crisp, or you can also use an oven set to the lowest heat setting. Enjoy!

How does this work in an oven for those of us who don’t have dehydrators? These look great, thanks!
Just use a low oven setting, and watch them carefully. When you hear them start to pop, they are done!
