Carnivore Crack Bars
These Carnivore Crack Bars are dangerously delicious—they taste just like rich, buttery caramel with a hint of chocolatey crunch. They are not truly carnivore, but they were inspired by the brown butter “carnivore crack” and I made them a little sweeter. Made with wholesome ingredients and packed with flavor, they’re best stored in the freezer… but fair warning: they’ll disappear fast! Hide them in the back if you want any left for yourself!
Carnivore Crack Bars
These rich, caramel-like bars are sweet, buttery, and completely irresistible. Store them in the freezer—trust us, they won’t last long!
- Ceramic Knives
- 8×8 Glass Baking Dish
- Parchment Paper
- Medium Saucepan
- 20-24 Medjool dates, (sliced in half and pressed flat)
- 1 ½ sticks of grass-fed butter, (melted)

- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- ¼ cup pecans, (chopped)
- Pit and cut in half enough dates to cover an 8×8 parchment-lined bar pan.

- Pour over dates. Pop the pan into the freezer until it hardens.
- Melt the coconut oil, stir in the cocoa powder, and pour over the caramel layer.
- Sprinkle on chopped pecans and put into the freezer for another 5 minutes.
- Cut into bars. Store in the freezer.
