Hi, my name is Kate and I am addicted to Hollandaise sauce. I could seriously drink it! I came up with an easy way to make it in the blender too! One day while making a quick snack of deviled eggs, I decided to try to make a hollandaise variation for the filling. Enter: hollandaise deviled eggs. The rest is history…
Hollandaise Deviled Eggs
A delicious variation of a classic recipe. These make a tasty breakfast as well as a snack or even for lunch.
Ingredients
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Lemon juice
- Grass-fed butter
- Cayenne pepper
Instructions
- This recipe is one of those "to taste" recipes, meaning that you add the ingredients to your taste preference.
- Peel the hard boiled eggs and slice in half.
- Put the yolks into a bowl and mash with a fork.
- Add in softened butter, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper to taste. Sometimes, I like more heat, and sometimes, I like more lemon. It is completely up to you.
- Mash it all together into a hollandaise paste, then scoop it back into the egg whites.
- Top with a dusting of cayenne.

OH wow. These look terrific. My daughter and I have that love hollandaise so much we could drink it thing, too. (And we practically do!) Just had some for breakfast, in fact…yuuuum. Pinning this baby because in addition to loving hollandaise, I do love a good devilled egg. Thanks!
Mmm, I am going to have to go sneak some of these in while my youngest (who can’t have eggs) is sleeping. I love hollandaise and I love deviled eggs. Putting the two together sounds genius!
Adding butter?! Why didn’t I think of that? 😉
Wow these look great! I usually don’t like deviled eggs because i’m not a mustard fan but I think I could get into these!
Drool…wow that looks awesome. I love Hollandaise sauce so much, but I rarely eat it! Now I’ll have to try your easy blender recipe. On the other hand I eat deviled eggs very frequently. Can’t wait to try this combo!! Thanks so much Kate.
I already have a jar of premade hollandaise and I want to find a way to use it, how can I make this with premade hollandaise?
Just stir that in with the yolks like you would with mayo when making deviled eggs
