Simple Homemade Spicy Guacamole
Avocados are a great source of vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta-carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids! So we try to get them into our menu whenever possible. This is an easy task when you make guacamole! Our version is a super yummy, very easy spicy guacamole that has a myriad of uses! Spread it on your grain-free wraps and add cooked chicken pieces, or simply use it as a dip with grain-free tortilla chips!

Simple Homemade Spicy Guacamole
Ingredients
- 2 large avocados
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lime juice
- ½ red onion finely chopped
- ½ jalapeno or green chili, finely chopped
- 2 TB fresh cilantro leaves finely chopped
- Sea salt
- Black pepper
- Grain-free tortilla chips to serve
Instructions
- Peel and roughly chop the avocados. In a mixing bowl, drizzle over the lemon and lime juice, tossing well to coat.
- Place the avocado (and all the juice) into a mini food processor/food chopper and blitz to a puree. In the meantime, prepare your remaining ingredients.
- The next part is easy! Simply combine the avocado puree with the red onion, jalapeno, and cilantro.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper, as needed. If you feel it needs more acidity, add more lemon or lime juice.
