Caprese Salad

The big and beautiful flavors of a simple caprese salad will always be a crowd-pleaser. It takes next to no time to assemble and will always bring plenty of positive feedback. Double or triple the ingredients should you wish to serve this at your summer BBQ and get creative with how you arrange the alternating layers! It also looks really pretty on a holiday table with the red and green colors!

Chef Tips:

  • Always opt for vine-ripened tomatoes: they are sweet and packed with the most flavor!
  • This spread can be arranged ahead of serving but keep it at room temperature (covered) – drizzling with olive oil and balsamic just before serving.
