Best Burger Patties Ever
These burger patties are packed with flavor, but the most special inclusion is a delicious jam made from an onion and garlic mixture which not only adds a sweet flavor to the beef patties but gives them a softer texture. Serve with your favorite toppings, there are some ideas below. The macros only show the patty mixture.
Chef Tips:
- Make a quick burger sauce by mixing equal amounts of keto mayo and no added sugar ketchup (around 4 tablespoons of each one).

Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 TB olive oil plus extra to brush the patties
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves grated or minced
- 1 TB Sriracha sauce
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lb ground beef we use Butcher Box meat
- 1 small-medium egg
- Sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Optional toppings not included in macros
- Grated extra-strong Cheddar cheese grate
- 1 little gem lettuce leaves separated
- 1-2 sliced tomatoes
- Burger sauce see Chef tip
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large, non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook until completely softened, around 6-7 minutes. Increase the heat to medium-high and cook until the onions start to turn dark golden. Stir continuously to avoid the garlic burning.
- Stir in the Sriracha and Worcestershire sauce and cook until all the excess moisture evaporates, around another 1-2 minutes. Season, remove from the heat, and leave to cool.
- Place the ground beef in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Add in the egg and cooked onion mixture and mix well to evenly combine.
- Create 4 equal portions, then form into patties.
- Chill in the fridge for 1 hour.
- When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 400°.
- Place the patties onto a baking sheet and brush the tops with a little olive oil.
- Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes. If you decide to add cheese to your burgers, place a little pile of grated cheese on top of the patties in the last 5 minutes of cooking to melt.
- Serve the patties with your choice of toppings. If you live low carb, enjoy bunless burgers!
