  • Heat the olive oil in a large, non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic and cook until completely softened, around 6-7 minutes. Increase the heat to medium-high and cook until the onions start to turn dark golden. Stir continuously to avoid the garlic burning.
  • Stir in the Sriracha and Worcestershire sauce and cook until all the excess moisture evaporates, around another 1-2 minutes. Season, remove from the heat, and leave to cool.
  • Place the ground beef in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  • Add in the egg and cooked onion mixture and mix well to evenly combine.
  • Create 4 equal portions, then form into patties.
  • Chill in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 400°.
  • Place the patties onto a baking sheet and brush the tops with a little olive oil.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes. If you decide to add cheese to your burgers, place a little pile of grated cheese on top of the patties in the last 5 minutes of cooking to melt.
  • Serve the patties with your choice of toppings. If you live low carb, enjoy bunless burgers!
