Today’s Sunday Snapshot is a picture I took of my jars of Homemade Laundry Detergent. I am going to be selling home-goods and personal care products at the Farmer’s Market in my area starting July 9th. I worked at a CSA and Farmer’s Market for one summer during college. It was a lot of fun and a great way to connect with people from your community! Looking forward to starting this up again.

Here is what I will be selling:

  1. Ok, I have to give you total props. I don’t know how you work as a nurse, a mom, keep up an active online-presence as a blogger AND create products to sell at your farmer’s market. You’re amazing! I’ve just started my blog and am shocked at how much time it takes. I’d love to know your secret!

    1. Erica, thanks for the props! I get up at 4:30 every day. That’s my secret. I also don’t watch TV anymore. It’s very busy and I work about 80 hours per week between the two. Labor of love! Once I get my rhythm down, it will get easier 🙂 Just keep pluggin away!

  2. Borax and Washing Soda are pretty similar in the fact they are both detergent boosters so wouldn’t it be safe to say you could use one or the other?
