Show Notes

Kysa’s Bio:
My name is Kysa (pronounced (kEEsa). I grew up in Portland, Oregon. Traveled the world, studied Nutrition in college and ended up back in Portland as a commodities trader and ski coach. After having my fourth child, I wrote a book (I have wanted to write a book since I was 18 years old writing in a journal on a flight back from Australia). Now, I am a stay-at-home mother to six kids, the last two identical girls. I’m loving every minute, but curious as to where my next adventure will take me . . . in the fall, I will have all six children in school for the first time.
I post on my Instagram often, mostly funny stories about our family (a lot about my husband, he is hilarious) and great tips about family, home, and raising children. My website
www.say-it-once.com where I post my book engagements. My book can be found on Amazon (Kindle, paperback, and audiobook formats), Barnes & Noble and Powell’s websites, including various great small bookstores around the country.
Kysa has been featured in popular publications such as First For Women Magazine, The Los Angeles Times and in The Paleo Miracle: 50 Real Stories of Health Transformation.

Hi, my name is Kate.
I love food. Real food. We eat all of the things that nursing school taught me were bad for you: butter, eggs, bacon, and raw milk.
I am a Nurse, a Mom, and a Real Food loving blogger. Just trying to save the world.
