Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 small tomato diced
  • ¼ cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper minced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prep the avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  • Mash the avocados: Use a fork or a potato masher to mash the avocados until you reach your desired consistency. For a smoother guacamole, use a food processor.
  • Add the other ingredients: Stir in the diced tomato, red onion, minced jalapeño, garlic, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Adjust the flavor: Taste the guacamole and adjust the seasonings as needed. For a spicier guacamole, add more jalapeño or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Serve immediately: Guacamole is best served fresh. Serve with grain-free tortilla chips or use as a topping for tacos, burritos, and salads.
