Homemade Citrus Scouring Scrub

I have created a wonderful cleanser that not only is non-toxic but works when you need to clean tables and countertops. The lemon essential oil in this recipe smells wonderful and fresh as it cleans and brightens, it also de-greases!

Equipment

  • Spoon
  • Bowl
  • Toothbrush

Materials

  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • 6 Tbsp baking soda
  • Lemon essential oil
  • Water

Instructions

  • 1. Stir just enough hydrogen peroxide into the baking soda to form a paste.

  • Add 6-8 drops of lemon essential oil and stir thoroughly.

Store in a glass container.To Use:

  • Apply a thick coating of the cleanser to your stain and let sit for about 10 minutes.
  • Scrub with an old toothbrush or other non-scratching scrubby.
  • Rinse with clean water
