Cookie sheetoptional, but makes transporting them to the freezer much easier
Instructions
Melt chocolate over a double boiler until nice and creamy.
Paint the chocolate on the inside of the molds.
Put the molds into the freezer (or if you live in a cold climate, like Minnesota, put them outside!).
Once nice and hard, paint on a second coat. Make sure to pay attention to the top edge so it's nice and thick or it will collapse when you put the molds together.
Put them back into the freezer and allow them to harden. Have patience, you want them nice and hard!
Pop them out of the molds, careful not to handle too much, and melt the chocolate with your hands.
Fill one cup with hot chocolate mix and marshmallows.
Put another cup on top and either paint the seam shut with more chocolate, or smooth it together with your fingers.
Decorate with sprinkles or anything you want to make them look pretty!
How to use them:
Place a hot chocolate bomb into a mug and pour warm hot milk or water over it. Watch it melt and explode the marshmallows out. My kids LOVED this part!
Stir and enjoy!
I store them in the freezer, they last longer and hold their shape.
