Spiced Walnuts Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 cups walnuts, whole
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 Tbsp gluten free Worcestershire sauce — where to find
- 4 Tbsp coconut oil, melted — we love this brand
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- In a small bowl, mix powdered seasonings together, then add Worcestershire sauce & coconut oil
- Pour the seasoning blend over walnuts, mixing well to make sure walnuts are covered
- Place the walnuts in a single layer onto a Silpat lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until walnuts are crisp
- Note from Kate: I keep them in the fridge in an airtight container or a plastic bag and they last about one week
- Serve spiced walnuts at your holiday table!
