One of the cookbooks that I could not wait to get my hands on is Kelly Bejelly’s Paleo Eats! She sent me an early copy, before it’s release in January, and I could not put it down. I actually spent Christmas morning reading it on the couch while my kids played with their new gifts from Santa. Her book was my new toy!
Inside, there are 111 grain free, dairy free, and Paleo friendly recipes to make the entire family happy. She considers the recipes in her book as “comfort foods,” which makes Paleo eating so much easier to transition to! I even picked up a copy for my Mom to help her get on track with Paleo eating, finally a book that makes it easy and doable — without feeling deprived!
Kelly is the author and photographer of Paleo Eats and also runs the blog A Girl Worth Saving. She is a mentor and friend of mine. She has such a brilliant creativity when it comes to recipe creation, so I always look to her for advice on food blogging! Her recipes speak to me, and my stomach! You just have to try some of the amazing desserts that she has created! She was even kind enough to let me feature one of the recipes from the book on my blog: check out her Coconut Cinnamon Cereal recipe HERE. So, as my mission to share healthy living tips with my readers, I simply had to do a Paleo Eats cookbook giveaway!

Danielle Walker. Love her stuff and trust her opinion.
I looked through lots of reviews and the one i liked was ….Kelly knocks it out of the park! By EagerReader – January 21, 2015. I liked this one because it told me about the physical features of the book, the picture quality, as well as the great food. I may not judge a book by its cover, but more so the lay out. This review made it sound like my kind of book.
I'm so excited and nervous about switching my whole family to a WAPF-modified paleo diet. I have a one-year-old and a three-year-old, so I need to find recipes that are easy and kid-friendly. The review that stood out to me is written by Michele V. Spring "A Paleo Family's Go-To Book." I appreciate that the writer mentions that her 2 and 5-year-olds like the recipes and that this is a book a young family needs. Got it! I'm sold!
There are some very helpful reviews on the amazon site! And so many 5 star ratings. Amazing. I liked the review by Susanne Runion because she mentions her success with specific recipes that I haven’t had in over a year because I’ve been gluten-free! Pizza and sloppy joes and oatmeal cookies… my mouth is watering. 🙂
i like Amazon reviews because I feel they’re really honest.
Ha! So true Jenny 😉
I have recently eliminated grains from my diet. I found the review by Jamie-Gutsy by Nature to be a review which would make me want to buy the book. I put it on my wish list and it will soon be a part of my cookbook collection and a new resource.
I was amazed at the reviews on Amazon. My 17-yr-old and I have been wheat-free and 98% dairy-free for about 6 months and have been trying to eliminate most of the other grains. I have a couple of recipe books here that have been great, but this one sounds like it fits our family well. I would love to enter the giveaway…and I think my favorite review on Amazon was “A Paleo family’s go-to book”.
Great cookbook giveaway! And your You Tube page is great!
Oh you had me at coconut cinnamon cereal
