Product Description
100% USDA ORGANIC MatchaDNA powdered green tea is a delicious tea with a delicate and naturally good taste. MatchaDNA is organically and sustainably grown in the pristine mountains of the Fujian province and is hand-picked. It can be made as tea, lattes, smoothies or used in foods and cooking.
Few people know that the current practice of drinking powdered tea in the Japanese tea ceremony is actually from the Song dynasty in China. It dates back to over 1,000 years ago. This practice was carried on in Japan and is now considered a pillar of Japanese culture.
- 100% USDA ORGANIC - Organic Chinese Origin Powered Matcha Green Tea
- REFUND SURETY - We stand behind our products 100% and offer a 100% refund.
- HIGH IN ANTIOXIDANTS & EGCGs - Highest Antioxidant Tea Found Anywhere

Today, once again high quality Matcha is being made in China. This tea has a slightly different character than its Japanese counterpart. Both teas have a deep green color and a thick, savory taste and texture. Both are high in EGCG and antioxidants. However, our Chinese MatchaDNA is smoother, and it has a rich, smooth and fresh taste unlike any other. Our teas are also tested in independent laboratories for Lead and heavy metals and pass the tests with flying colors!
USDA ORGANIC & SWISS CERTIFIED ORGANIC TO USA AND EU STANDARDS. 100% CERTIFIED without BPA POUCHES.

Since then I’ve tried a couple of different kinds of matcha. This is Chinese Matcha which is slightly different than the Japanese variety I tried previously. Reading the positive reviews here prompted me to give this product a try. I like the fact that it is 100% organic matcha. Opening the bag, it smells very fresh. The smell is strong, but the taste is not overpowering at all. The effect is both invigorating and calming. The green tea has properties that calm you and balance out the caffeine. It's an overall much more soothing effect than coffee.
It’s really easy to make this into a delightful afternoon tea. The powder is finely milled so it’s easier to mix into a beverage. There is no need to sift the powder ahead of time. Just add ½ teaspoon to a mug and add hot water, whisk (I use the frother in place of a manual whisk) and voila! Lattes are almost as simple especially if you have the frother. Add warm milk instead of water and froth! Both ways make a delightful afternoon drink that is both good and good for you.
TL;DR This stuff is amazing! We have a lot of different requirements in my family. My wife likes hers sweet, my Grandma likes hers creamy, my Grandfather has to control his sugar, so it cannot be sweet and I like it lightly sweet AND creamy!
What’s great is that it comes completely unsweetened! It can actually be a challenge to find some that isn’t sweetened. Trader Joes has a really nice matcha for an okay price, but you cannot get it without a whole bunch of sugar and other sweeteners. It’s great as a gift, but not good enough for the family!
So, after trying out this kind, I have to say, it blows away our expensive favorite. The color is perfect, the aroma is to die for and it tastes perfect. It’s light, it’s earthy, it tastes exactly how it’s supposed to taste without any filler or weird colorants. (I once tried a brand that was neon-green! Bleh!)
In addition, the packaging states that half a teaspoon is perfect for an 8oz glass, normally I do a whole teaspoon, but I tried it according to the packaging and it was perfect! I got the 12oz bag, and if that’s all it takes to make a perfect cup, this is going to last a long while! I might just pick up the 1lb tin next!
I love this tea! The color, aroma and taste are just perfect, check out my pictures! I frothed some organic soy milk and made a hot soy matcha latte! Nothing better on cold nights with the family!
