2-Gingers is a local Irish Whiskey here in Minnesota, though made in Ireland 2-Gingers was launched in Minnesota. After a year of being sold exclusively to its home state, 2-Gingers is also now available in Iowa, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, North Carolina, New York, and Massachusetts with more states to come! Good Stuff!

This drink includes bitters, which are:

Liquids referred to as “bitters” are usually made from fragrant, bitter-tasting herbs such as gentian or dandelion. While some fermented alcoholic bitters are a bartender’s secret weapon for tasty cocktails, others such as non-alcoholic Swedish bitters are marketed as handy digestive aids. (source)

Since alcohol has been known to disrupt the natural acidity and flora in the gut, I am always a big fan of adding in a little digestive support! Now, here’s how to make the big ginger!

Grape Big Ginger

When you need a tasty cocktail, this Grape Big Ginger will hit the spot. Plus, it will give you a little digestive support!

Ingredients

  • 2-Gingers Irish Whiskey
  • Grape Bitters
  • Ginger ale (I used Zevia brand to avoid all of the sugar from regular ginger ale)

Instructions

1. In a cocktail glass, add crushed ice to 3/4 full.

2. Add 2-Gingers, Grape Bitters, and Ginger ale to your taste preference.

3. Enjoy in your big ginger moderation!
