Good Stuff!
This drink includes bitters, which are:
Liquids referred to as “bitters” are usually made from fragrant, bitter-tasting herbs such as gentian or dandelion. While some fermented alcoholic bitters are a bartender’s secret weapon for tasty cocktails, others such as non-alcoholic Swedish bitters are marketed as handy digestive aids. (source)
Since alcohol has been known to disrupt the natural acidity and flora in the gut, I am always a big fan of adding in a little digestive support! Now, here’s how to make the big ginger!
- 2-Gingers Irish Whiskey
- Grape Bitters
- Ginger ale (I used Zevia brand to avoid all of the sugar from regular ginger ale)
1. In a cocktail glass, add crushed ice to 3/4 full.
2. Add 2-Gingers, Grape Bitters, and Ginger ale to your taste preference.
3. Enjoy in your big ginger moderation!
