  1. One thing seems a bit odd. Green bananas to cut down on the sugar, and then suggesting to smother them in maple syrup. Is the green banana really because this works better with a plantain, and green bananas are a close sub that is easy to find? If not why not just skip the syrup and use wonderfully ripe bananas?

    1. I like to make foods lower in sugar for starters and then if we want to we can add additional sweeteners like maple syrup. If the kids are squirrley in the morning, then it’s just plain pancakes!

  2. Made these this morning. My husband said, “Last night you made banana bread and today you made pancakes… I should have let you talk me into this Paleo thing sooner!” 🙂 Thanks for sharing this recipe. I found your blog via pinterest and I’m loving it.

  3. Use Walden Farms Walnut Maple Pancake Syrup, or their other syrups, Maple, Blueberry or Strawberry. No Sugar No Calories! Delicious!
